We are counting down to October National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and want to congratulate one of our most successful events ROPE and RUN for the CAUSE team roping and barrel racing. Barrel racers and team ropers of eastern North Carolina came together on June 4th and 5th at Parker’s Covered Arena in Elm City North Carolina to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research. The event was supported by many, many sponsors, volunteers, barrel racers and team ropers. The two day event raised a total of $19,896.00 for the Tough Enough to Wear Pink Campaign.
It is the work of many like the hard working folks in Elm City, North Carolina that has helped Tough Enough to Wear Pink raise over $7.5 million dollars to date, many of those dollars staying in local communities. Thank you Mark Mundy, your family, friends and all those that participated in the ROPE and RUN for the CAUSE.
